`And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.'" - -19
Prophecy Applied to Christ
For Moses truly said to the fathers, "The LORD your GOD will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you." Acts 3:22
And it shall come to pass that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. - -23

Then fear came upon all, and they glorified GOD, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "GOD has visited His people." Luke 7:16
Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, "This man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner." - -39
And He said to them, "What things?"And they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before GOD and all the people:

And He said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of GOD ascending and descending upon the Son of Man." John 1:51
2nd His Departure
Then He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it." Luke 17:22
Then Jesus said to them, "I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me." John 7:33
"You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come." - -34
Then Jesus said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come." - 8:21
"For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always." - 12:8
"Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, `Where I am going, you cannot come,' so now I say to you. - 13:33
"Of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more."
- 16:10
"A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father." - -16
3rd Defection of Disciples
Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: `I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' Matthew 26:31
Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: `I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' Mark 14:27
"Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me." John 16:32
4th Peter's Denial
Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." Matthew 26:34
And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." Mark 14:30
Then he said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me." Luke 22:34
Simon Peter said to Him, "LORD, where are You going?" Jesus answered him, "Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward." John 13:36
Peter said to Him, "LORD, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake." - -37
Jesus answered him, "Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times."
John 13:38
And a second time the rooster crowed. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And when he thought about it, he wept. Mark 14:72
5th Peter's Martyrdom
"Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." John 21:18
This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify GOD. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me." - -19
6th His Own Sufferings
Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men." Matthew 17:22
And they were all amazed at the majesty of GOD. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples. Luke 9:43
"Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men." - -44
And He said to them, "Go, tell that fox, `behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.'" - 13:32
"Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem." - -33
"But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation." - 17:25
But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified." John 12:23
"If GOD is glorified in Him, GOD will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately." - 13:32
7th Accommodations for the Passover
So He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him." Mark 14:13
"And wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, `The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' - -14
"Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." - -15
And His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover. - -16
8th -- Crucifixion
Then Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, Matthew 20:17
"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death." - -18
"And deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again." Matthew 20:19
Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples, - 26:1
"You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified." - -2
"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." John 12:32
This He said, signifying by what death He would die. - -33
The people answered Him, "We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, "The Son of Man must be lifted up?" Who is this Son of Man?" - -34
Peter's Resentment Thereof
Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, LORD; this shall not happen to You!" Matthew 16:22
But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of GOD, but of the things of men." - -23
"And they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up." And they were exceedingly sorrowful. - 17:23
And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. Mark 8:31
He spoke this word openly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. - -32
But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, "Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of GOD, but the things of men." - -33
9th -- Death and Resurrection
From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Matthew16:21
For He taught His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day." Mark 9:31
Saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day." Luke 9:22
10th -- His Degradation
Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed. And as they followed they were afraid. Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: Mark 10:32
"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles:" - -33
"And they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again." - -34
Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished." Luke 18:31
"For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon." - -32
"And they will scourge Him and put Him to death. And the third day He will rise again." - -33
11th -- That a Disciple should Betray Him
Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me."
Mark 14:18
Then He answered and said to them, "It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish." - -20
"But behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table." Luke 22:21
"And truly the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!" - -22
Then they began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing. - -23
Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you." John 13:10
For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean." - -11
"I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, `He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.' - -18
12th -- What Disciple
Now as they were eating, He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me." Matthew 26:21
And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, "LORD, is it I?" - -22
Then He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me." - -23
"The Son of Man goes as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born." - -24
Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it." - -25
When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me." John 13:21
Then the disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke. - -22
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. - -23
Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke. - -24
Then leaning back on Jesus' breast, he said to Him, "LORD, who is it?" - -25
Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. - -26
13th -- The Exact Time
Then He came to His disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. Matthew 26:45
"Rise, let us be going. See, he who betrays Me is at hand." - -46
Then He came the third time and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners." Mark 14:41
"Rise up, let us go. See, My betrayer is at hand." - -42
14th -- His Own Interment
But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." Matthew 12:39
"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." - -40
Then Jesus said, "Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial." John 12:7
15th -- His Resurrection
"But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee." Matthew 26:32
"But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee." Mark 14:28
Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." John 2:19
Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?" - -20
But He was speaking of the temple of His body. - -21
Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said. - -22
16th -- Success of the Gospel
"And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations." Mark 13:10
"And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; - 16:17
"They will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." - -18
17th -- Time of His Kingdom
"Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." Matthew 16:28
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." - 24:14
And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of GOD present with power." Mark 9:1
"But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of GOD."
Luke 9:27
18th -- False Christs
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you." Matthew 24:4
"For many will come in My name, saying, `I am the Christ,' and will deceive many." - -5
"Then if anyone says to you, `Look here is the Christ!' or `There!' do not believe it." - -23
"For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect." - -24
"See, I have told you beforehand." - -25
"Therefore if they say to you, "Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or `Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it." - -26
And Jesus, answering them, began to say: "Take heed that no one deceives you." Mark 13:5
"For many will come in My name, saying, `I am He,' and will deceive many." - -6
"Then if anyone says to you, `Look, here is the Christ!' or `Look, He is there!' do not believe it." - -21
"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." - -22
"But take heed; see I have told you all things beforehand." - -23
"And they will say to you, `Look here!' or `Look there!' Do not go after them or follow them." Luke 17:23
"For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day." - -24
And He said, "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many, will come in My name, saying, `I am He,' and, `The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them." - 21:8
